School Psychology Tools ($34.99) - The price of this one has gone up, but it has some great tools and you may find it's worth the price! You can keep track of the students you need to work with, as well as a stop watch and calendar. Perhaps one of the best features is the observation tool.
PAR Assessment Toolkit - Includes a normal curve, conversion chart, age calculator, stopwatch and compliancy calculator.
Student On-Task Observation (SOTO) ($9.99) - Instead of paper, pen and a clock, the SOTO App captures and collects your observation data through simple “checkboxes”. It also automatically maintains timed intervals for you throughout your observation. After performing an observation session, you can quickly generate a report, which calculates percentage statistics from your data, as well as graph and chart images that help effectively communicate your data visually. Having graphs and charts are worth a thousand words. Easily show parents and teachers their student’s time on-task compared to their peers.
PsycExplorer ($1.99) - Receive up-to-date news and information regarding all areas of psychology in this nifty little app!
Track My Mileage (FREE) - A great and easy way to track your mileage on your iPhone and/or iPad!
You Can Handle Them All ($1.99) - Defines and addresses 124 common student behaviors. Also gives the primary cause for each behavior, as well as immediate things you can do to address the behavior.
Psych Drugs (FREE) - Great information on psychiatric medicaitons.
Motivation/Rewards
iReward ($2.99) - iReward provides an electronic way to motivate kids through challenging tasks. They can see the reward they will be earning, as well as the steps they are taking to earn that reward.
Choiceworks ($6.99) - Great visual scheduler! Kids see a picture list of things to do and click to place item in the "All Done" column. There are timers that can be used for each task, or for all tasks as a whole.
Visual Timer ($.99) - Kids can see time running out on this clock.
Social Stories/Social Skills
Social Stories (FREE) - More than 10 free social stories already created, with the option to purchase additional ones for ($.99).
Stories 2 Learn ($13.99) - S2L offers parents and educators the ability to create personalized stories using photos, text, and audio messages. These stories can be used to promote an individual’s literacy, leisure, as well as social skills.
Pictello ($18.99) - It's expensive... yes. But it does so much! Text to talk in multiple languages, also share stories using a password so it's secure and confidential.
Look in My Eyes ($2.99) - Students practice looking into the eyes of the person on the ipad. A number is in the eyes, which the student must then use to "earn" train rides.
Between the Lines ($15.99) - Allows for students to learn subtle language cues. Good for those who experience difficulty with anything outside literal understanding.
Counseling (Primary Age)
Professor Garfield Cyberbullying (FREE) - Garfield's friend Nermal wishes to win the best dance star competition on the "Animal Idol" website. Little does Nermal realize that he's soon to experience a major cyber smackdown. Moody Monster Manor (FREE) - Calling all kids who love monsters! Come with us to Moody Monster Manor. You can create your own monsters, play fun and exciting games, win monster merit badges, or meet the 20 monsters through the Moody Monster audio tour.
How Would You Feel If... Fun Deck ($3.99) - This colorful, educational social skills App for the iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod touch® has all 56 illustrated picture flash cards (plus audio of each card text) from the How Would You Feel If ... Fun Deck® by Super Duper® Publications. Select the cards you want students to see, and have them discuss their feelings about a variety of situations. The prompts include questions like, “How would you feel if … you forgot to study for your spelling test?” and “How would you feel if … your favorite football team lost?”
Following Directions Fun Deck ($3.99) - This colorful educational App for the iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod touch® has all 52 illustrated picture flash cards (plus audio of each card text) from the Following Directions Fun Deck® by Super Duper® Publications. Breathe Think Do with Sesame Street (FREE) - Sesame Street characters teach a calming technique - Breathe, Think, Do. Bilingual.

Unstuck (FREE) - Helps students get from stuck to unstuck no matter what the challenge may be.
Breathe to Relax (FREE) - Stress management tool that talks about stress' effects on the body, and gives tips and training for deep breathing techniques.
Teen Hotlines (FREE) - Extensive lists of hotlines and numbers for teens.
Middle School Confidential (FREE) - Graphic novel geared toward students 8-14. Book 1 of a series of books that deal with self-confidence, bullying, out of control emotions, etc. This one is called "Be Confident in Who You Are".
Cyberbullying ($.99) - Defines cyberbullying and what can be done to stop it. Also great resources for parents.
Toxic Thinking (FREE) - Addresses toxic thinking triggers, as well as appropriate self action and resources. Note: this is an app that has British spellings (i.e.; "behaviour" vs. "behavior")
PTSD Support (FREE) - Defines PTSD, gives coping strategies as well.
iCounselor - Anger ($.99) - Rate your level of anger, then move through skills that help you manage your anger.
